A novel titled ‘Aphulomi Nu/son of a farmer’ written by Kakiye Yehato Swu was release by Sumi Hoho, President, I Nikheto Jimomi.
Zunheboto, April 25 (MExN): A novel titled ‘Aphulomi Nu/son of a farmer’ was release by Sumi Hoho, President, I Nikheto Jimomi in the presence of all Sumi frontal organizations at Sumi Hoho Ki on April 25.
The novel is written by Kakiye Yehato Swu in Sumi language using diacritics. The author holds a master's degree in History and a diploma in Human Rights Education from Pune University. He is currently a committee member of Sumi Literature Board Text Book Cell (degree) and also a School Health Programme Coordinator (SHP/RBSP) for Zunheboto district, stated a press release received here.
While releasing the book, the Sumi Hoho President lauded the author for his diligence and wished him best for the success of the book. He also called on the Sumi frontal organizations to promote the author in their respective areas encouraging the author.
Literature Board Chairman, Vihoshe Muru Sumi in his address lamented that there are very less readers who reads Sumi books and called on the members present to educate people on the importance of mother tongue. Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was done by Sumi Hoho Vice President Hokishe Kiba.
