Appeal to CM

In fact as a up-coming youth of today and a good citizen living in a welfare state like Nagaland, we are really happy and grateful to you and your Government. For, it is under your dynamic and visionary leadership that, three new districts have been created viz; Peren, Longleng and Kiphire in the state and also it was during your period, new department like DUDA and Women Welfare were established, keeping in mind that, it can uplift backward area and give benefits to the women in the state. This by itself speaks volumes of your leadership sincerity, dedication despite many obstruction and discouragement. You took a wise decision which will be remembered by the people of the state in the days to come.

However, I on behalf of affected rural people would like to draw your attention. Here my intention is not to damage the good name of your Government but to point out the irregularities so that you will review the mistakes and pass the benefit to the targeted section of the people for whom the money sanctioned was meant for PMGY under medical department which was specifically meant for construction and repairing of rural health centre have been willfully diverted consecutively for three years ie; 2002-03; 2003-04 and 2004-05.By violating all the norms and guidelines laid down by the central Government which in fact State Government have no authority to divert but is bound to honour and implement it in latter and in spirit. Because the money have been practically sanctioned only after the central government have received specific project report in detailed from the state government, that is also through competent authority/agency, where the question of divert does not arise. However, the intention of our state government towards rural health sector appears to be negative and completely neglected and forgotten and hence, the ultimate victims are the rural people who has to face untold misery during the time of sickness. In this connection, I feel who am I to take up this domestic affairs to the concerned authority at Delhi/file PU in the court of law, when we have popular state government, which is mandated by the people of the state under the name and style of DAN, led by such a youthful leader who is in his mid-fifties, well equipped and who himself was brought up from village doesn’t need second person to brief him about the problems and sufferings of the common men in the rural areas. Having such a dynamic leader in running the affairs of our state, we have full confidence in you that you will not let the rural people down under the period of your leadership.

Whatever may be the compulsion and cries on your part, we are still expecting that you will provide some fraction of amount to meet the immediate needs in the rural health sector for the moment, which is one of the most important and long due. If looked into, it can benefit 80% of our state population which is a matter of pride on the part of the government. Finally, whatever amount is sanctioned for this purpose at this stage, we shall be grateful to the government and its leadership in particular. For it will be done with the intention of judiciously utilizing to meet the most urgent needs of the hour at the moment for the benefit of the common people in the state. And we know it will be done and sanctioned despite limited resources at hand.
