You may be aware of the incident that took place on 8th December 2005 at around 8:00 pm as a memorandum was submitted to you earlier by Nagaland Electricity field workers Association (NEFWA) Tuensang Zonal vide letter No: NEFWA A/TZ-4/2005-06/14-20 DT. TSG. The 9th December 2005. Basing on the above, we would like to highlight a few facts for your prompt necessary action.
Sir, on that very night our SDO (E) Sub-division No.II Tuensang town while visiting power house as usual duty at around 8:00 pm, some unknown persons badly attacked him and looted some cash from him at the power house Tuensang town. Such physical assault/harassment meted out to our department staff by public is intolerable.
Sir, leaving aside the public harassment meted out to the departmental staff, now even our reputed controlling officers are facing intolerable and condemnable harassment while on usual duty. So, if such barbaric act happens up to the controlling officers the future of our field staff performing their duty without knowing day and night is of no safety and the risk of their life is beyond imagination.
Hence, we the field staff of power department Tuensang division humbly request your kind authority to kindly book the culprits and take exemplary action at the earliest, failing which we have no option other than to resort to our own course of action.
