(b) Particulars of information required: High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) cost.
(i) Details of information required: What is the reason behind the exorbitant HSRP rate in Nagaland (Rs. 1300 approx. for 4-wheeler)?
(ii) Period for which information asked for: Till 9th June ’12, a week before the last date, i.e., 15th June 2012, of HSRP registration as per Govt. of Nagaland notification.
(iii) Other details: (a) Karnataka, Rajasthan and Goa cancelled contract with Shimnit Utsch India Pvt. Ltd. for it’s dubious nature, Allahabad High Court Lucknow Bench probe a CBI investigation; when all this is happening what is the reason behind giving the bid/contract to SHIMNIT for HSRP manufacturing when there are other domestic companies which will provide the service at very less rate?
(b)When GOI directed the states to implement HSRP at the lowest cost, in the interest and welfare of Indian citizen, why is RTO of Nagaland not concerned for it’s citizens?
