The Assam Rifles handed over digital equipment, including a computer and uninterrupted power supply, to the Meluri Women’s Society at COB Meluri on September 6.

MELURI, SEPTEMBER 7 (MExN): Assam Rifles, under the leadership of Commander, 7 Sector, handed over digital equipment, including a computer and uninterrupted power supply, to the Meluri Women’s Society at COB Meluri on Saturday.
The Meluri Women’s Society, a prominent organisation working for women’s empowerment and addressing social issues, will use the equipment to enhance its administrative and educational activities, officials said.
Twenty members of the society received the digital equipment and presented a traditional waistcoat to the senior-most representative of Assam Rifles as a token of gratitude, symbolising the strong bond between the organisation and the security force.
The initiative reflects Assam Rifles’ commitment to supporting local organisations and empowering women to drive positive change and development in the region.
