Even as the govt. of India in its wisdom has decided to go ahead with the assembly election on 27th February , 2018 and election just at the door, the cries for 'solution not election' are getting louder day by day . It is really heartening to see many groups having concern for political solution rather than election. I, for one, am for it and do respect the aspirations of nagas as we are faced with a hard choice of coming to a logical conclusion.
However a number of food for thought arises in my mind to ponder and reflect on as I place these foods for the consumption of6 nagas in general :
1. Are nagas really serious for 'solution not election' in letter and spirit? Or it is just another cheap trick to fool and cheat the nagas again by 'Crying Wolves ' 2. Can we successfully defy the assembly election just as the ULB election 2017 ? 3. Will the poll boycott of 1998 repeat again butchering democracy once the empty vessels making much noise are filled up because history repeats.
Lest us all think ,talk and act sensibly , responsibly and rationally with maturity for the common hope and dreams of the Nagas .
