Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): Hundreds of youths aspiring to join the Indian Army turned up at the Army recruitment drive at Bhagat Stadium Rangapahar in Dimapur today. The rally is being carried out for recruitment for Soldier General Duty for all districts of Nagaland, and for Soldier Technical and Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper for all the North East States.
Today’s recruitment rally was held for candidates from the districts of Dimapur, Kiphire, Longleng, Mon and Phek only. The maximum turnout was from Dimapur. The candidates will go through physical fitness test, physical measurement test, dispensation of physical standard, medical examination and finally a written test. The recruitment is likely to go on for the next three days. The rally is open tomorrow for candidates from the remaining districts in Nagaland.
