ARSU 26th bi-annual conference held

Zunheboto, January 6 (DIPR): The 26th bi-annual conference of Akuluto Range Students Union (ARSU) was held at Lotisa (New) with Parliamentary Secretary YRS & MTF, K. Khekaho Assumi as the chief guest of the inaugural programme on January 6.  

Speaking on the occasion, the Parliamentary Secretary highlighted the developmental programmes of the present government for 31 A/C Akuluto under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He said that the first priority of being an MLA is for development and that he would be approaching the Government for the construction of GHSS Akuluto and GHS VK. Quoting Martin Luther he said that "You are not born poor, but you compelled the situation to create it" and encouraged the students to work hard.  

Earlier the programme was chaired by the Co-convenor of the 26th annual conference. Nihoyi while the invocation was pronounced by Zhekiye Aye Y/Pastor Lumami Baptist Church.
