Artsy Naga’s ongoing art exhibition, “Think Art, Think Nagaland” at the 2019 Hornbill International Festival announced the winners for the categories of artworks being displayed. 


A press release issued by Toka Kits, PR & Content Analyst, Artsy Naga stated that with a vision to promote and encourage Naga artists, Artsy Naga tied up with sponsors to give away certificates and cash awards to the winners.


The art exhibition-cum-sale is a juried show, featuring some of the best artists from Nagaland and their selected artworks. A total of 46 artists (and 80+ artworks) are a part of the 10-day exhibition which Artsy Naga is curating with the core objective to lay the foundations for making Nagaland synonymous with art. Artsy Naga aims to ensure that the tourists and visitors will have an enriching experience of the art & culture of Nagaland through an inclusive display of artistic works that vary in medium, style, form and genres.


The exhibition presents a professional gallery setting, even offering premium gallery services like professional packaging of artworks for worldwide shipping. A variety of daily activities that promises to engage the visitors with an interactive experience with art events like “You can paint,” where the visitors can try their hands on painting beside a professional artist doing live art demonstration. As the festive spirit of Christmas lingers in the air around Kisama while the Hornbill fest nears its final day, the curating team of Artsy Naga welcomes all the art lovers, aficionados, collectors and the general public to come and witness this unprecedented art exhibition.
