Asia Harvest Alliance announces annual conference

The Asia Harvest Alliance (AHA) has announced its annual conference for the year 2019 to be held under the theme ‘Abundance of harvest’ from January 16 to 18 at IMC hall, Fellowship Colony, Dimapur.

Addressing a press conference held on January 9 at Hope Café, Duncan Basti, Dimapur the organisers highlighted the details of the conference and also of the organising body.

Tagged as the “Abundance” conference, it will be a gathering of believers mostly pastors, evangelist and leaders from different regions of India as well as Asian countries like Bhutan, Nepal and Indonesia. 

The main vision and purpose of the conference is “to bring inspiration, edification and equipping the body of Christ.” Kenei Kiso, Pastor, Life Square Church, Chümoukedima said that the key things which the conference aspires to achieve is strengthening the unity and bringing together the different independent ministries and churches under a common umbrella. 

On the theme, ‘Abundance of harvest’, Wabang S Longchari, pastor, The Lighthouse Church stated that every year the Alliance have different themes for the respective years. “Harvest refers to souls that need to come into the fold. It was felt that we need to talk about evangelism, togetherness and need to save souls,” added pastor Kiso. 

The conference is open for all believers from all denominations. The day sessions are teachings on leadership whereas the evening sessions are gospel meetings, where the sick and spiritually hungry will be prayed for, informed the organisers. The morning sessions will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm while the evening meetings, which is open for all will be held from 5:00pm. 

Day delegates are required to register with Rs. 2000 which covers lunch and dinner. However, the others who are interested can also attend the day sessions with the registration of Rs 100 “without food and lodging.” 

For the conference, the speakers will be coming from Hyderabad, Australia, Cambodia and Singapore. “All the speakers are proven and experienced leaders of mega churches,” the organisers stated. They will be speaking on topics such as church planting, finances, mission etc. 

The praise and worship will be led by team from The Warehouse Church, Kingdom Culture Church and The Lighthouse Church, Dimapur.

Another mission statement of AHA is “to recognize proven ministers as licensed or ordained ministers.” According to the members, till date around 25 pastors and leaders have been ordained and lincensed under the Alliance. 

It was informed during the press conference that AHA also strives “to assist in producing strong, capable, and ethical ministerial leadership in the Body of Christ, by organizing annual conferences, retreats, seminars or fellowships to strengthen and build up the faith, anointing and ministerial abilities of the members.”

At present, AHA has about a hundred registered members from all across the nations.
