ASMITA city/district league U-16 Girls 2026 in Nagaland

Kohima, April 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has announced that ASMITA City/District League U-16 2026 will be conducted across various districts in Nagaland in 4 zones.

The Association encouraged the participation of all districts for promotion of women’s football, creating awareness, and encouraging more girls to take up the sport from a younger age.

This is for players born on or after 1 January 2011 and on or before 31 December 2012.

The city/district leagues are to be completed on or before 31.05.2026.

As per approval from SAI, an amount of Rs. 75,000 will be provided for the conduct of each tournament.

The NFA sought mandatory registration on CRS/CMS.

The designated Host Districts have to confirm their participation in hosting the district/city league with proposed date(s) and venue of league and nomination of designated Point of Contact to NFA within 3days for onward submission to the AIFF for further necessary action, failing which the hosting privilege will be transferred to another district.

This was stated in a release issued by NFA president K. Neibou Sekhose and joint secretary Chenonlo Woch.

Zone-1 (Host District: Kohima): For Kohima, Tseminyu, Phek & Meluri
Zone-2 (Host District: Chümoukedima): For Chümoukedima, Dimapur, Niuland & Peren.
Zone-3 (Host District: Mokokchung): For Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunheboto & Longleng.
Zone-4 (Host District: Tuensang): For Tuensang, Noklak, Kiphire, Shamator & Mon.
