ASTD clarifies on Ao Senden statement

Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur has clarified on the statement made by the Ao Senden over the launch of the Central Nagaland Tribal Council (CNTC). According to a press note issued by ASTD President Supu Jamir and General Secretary C. Onen Walling, a letter of endorsement (see box) was received from the Ao Senden Headquarter Mokokchung, Nagaland for the formation of the Central Nagaland Tribal Council (CNTC) with Ao, Sumi and Kyong at Dimapur base. 

As such the ASTD stated that it was “constrain to put this clarification to one and all that the very statement of Ao Senden in the media on December 7, 2012 contradicts its letter of endorsement”. Therefore the office of the ASTD has informed all concern not to get confused by the said statements and asked its members/delegates to attend the launching programme positively on the 8th of December 2012 at 1o am at IMC Hall DImapur. The press note from the ASTD also attached a translated copy of the Ao Senden endorsement letter.
