Kohima, August 29 (MExN): A two-week induction training for 41 LDA-cum-Computer Assistants recruited through the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) concluded here on August 29.
The training, organised by the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima, was conducted for newly appointed staff from the departments of Power, Rural Development, Commissioner of State Taxes, and the Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission.
According to a press release, the training, which began on August 19, covered key modules including office procedure, accounts matters and service & personnel matters.
This was the ninth batch to complete the induction training since the programme was initiated by ATI in the 2023-24 fiscal year.
ATI Director General held an interactive session with the participants on the concluding day. He congratulated them on their success in the “transparent and merit-based” NSSB examination process, stating that their achievement would inspire “young people to qualify and join the government service through hard work and dedication.”
The trainees also shared their experiences and discussed their roles and responsibilities during the session.
The event was attended by ATI Joint Directors Dr. S Rongsen Longkumer, Er N Moa Longkumer, and Kaholi Sema, along with Lecturer Peter Konyak and Course Coordinator Imlibenla Jamir, Deputy Director.
