ATMA functionaries receive training on sustainable agriculture practices 

Medziphema, September 10 (MExN): The State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) organized a two-day online training programme on ‘Good Agriculture Practices: Sustainable Agriculture’ for ATMA functionaries on September 6 and 7. 

The training programme was aimed at imparting technical knowledge on good agriculture practices for sustainable agriculture, a press release informed on Wednesday.

Resource persons Dr Sajib Borua, Asst Professor, EEI-NER and M Dutta, RA, EEI-NER covered the topics  of good agricultural practices for sustainable agriculture, good agricultural practices for better agricultural marketing, and Extension Methods for Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture, Agro-Tourism: A way for Sustainable Agricultural Development, during the training.

A total of 22 participants from different districts attended the training session which was chaired by Janet Chishi, Deputy Project Director, SAMETI. Feedback forms were submitted by the participants and e-certificates were distributed to the participants, following which vote of thanks was pronounced by Yezaho Swu, Deputy Project Director, the release stated.
