Kohima, June 7 (DIPR): ATMA Kohima block in a gap filling mode visited Thekrejuma village, one of the far- flung village under Kohima district where many (development) extension services are yet to reach due to the remote location and poor connectivity of the village.
The team was led by Nosezole District Agriculture Officer & Project Director (ATMA-Kohima) along with Seyievonuo A.O II & BTT Convener Kohima Block and K. Akhrie Yhome APPO. District Agriculture Office, Kohima. Training and demonstration on use of Bio-fertilizers & Bio-Agents were imparted to the farmers. After the training inputs and plant protection equipment were also given to the farmers free of cost. They were also briefed about the concept and objective of ATMA.
Altogether 30 farmers attended the training and had many fruitful interactions with the officials. The farmers were very grateful to the Department of Agriculture and ATMA for initiating the programme and also for distribution of Bio-fertilizers, Bio Agents, agricultural inputs and equipment.
