Phek, January 28 (MExN): In commemoration of the 65th Republic Day celebration, ATMA-Phek in collaboration with the Department of Horticulture, Phek organised and sponsored a district level exhibition at Phek town on January 26, 2014. According to a press release, the exhibition acted as a melting pot for vegetable farmers, women self help groups and input dealers. Exhibits on display were organic vegetables from Surhoba and Pfutsero; SHG products from Losami; and vegetable seeds, gardening tools, animal healthcare products, agricultural tools and implements from the input dealer. The exhibition was held in an effort to promote farmers’ products and to link them to public agencies and the general public, the note added. Twelve different technical folders on fruits and vegetables of ATMA-Phek were also distributed to the visitors.
