Atsungba Sangtam
Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): Atsungba Sangtam from Kiphire district has been selected to make Nagaland’s debut at one of India’s biggest annual pageant for men – ‘Rubaru Mr India’ later this year.
Besides holding the title of Mr Kohima 2018 and Mr Grand Nagaland 2021, Atsungba has attended a series of fashion events. Currently based in Dimapur, he is a student of multimedia development and also holds a degree in literature. By profession, he is a model and photographer. Atsungba says that he aspires to become an entrepreneur and philanthropist, and wants to serve the society.
According to an update received here, Rubaru Mr India is India’s biggest and oldest running male pageant. The contest was established in 2004, and this year, the event is going to celebrate its 18th edition.
Rubaru Mr India holds the record of being associated with the maximum number of international modelling competitions and championships across the globe.
The top placers of the event go on to represent India at various international championship based in different parts of the world. Rubaru Mr India contest has produced the maximum number of international male pageant award winners and titleholders of Indian origin, it stated.
