Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has stated that the traffic congestion in the capital town has become a concern for all, and as such various agencies are being involved in regulating the traffic problem in Kohima. In this regard, the AYO felt that Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) should be lauded for doing a good job in assisting the traffic police. “This is a good example of community/public participation to make our towns less chaotic. One hopes that the Government will also take up projects for road widening and development of new roads for our major towns especially Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung to ease the traffic problem that we face daily, instead of just taking up experimental road diversions,” stated Khrielievi Chüsi, AYO president in a press note. AYO also appeals to all concerned citizens to come forward and give their suggestions to ease the traffic congestion in our towns.
