DIMAPUR, AUGUST 23 (MExN): The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) has stated that it was “constrained to issue this statement in connection with the statement of the GPRN/NSCN through its MIP and carried in the Local Dailies on 18th August 2012”. The AYO termed this statement as “astonishing” and an attempt to “taint the image of AYO with unfounded allegations and accusations which were totally baseless and uncalled for”. The AYO stated that time and again, various respected civil society organisations have been making appeals to all conflicting Naga National Organisations to stop bloodshed. Likewise, AYO also joined along with colony Councils, G.Bs, Youth Organisations of Kohima in appealing to all factions to shun violence and to make Kohima, the state capital a safe place for all as it belongs to all.
