Chümoukedima, July 18 (MExN): The Ao Youth Organisation Chümoukedima (AYOC) organised a Skill Development Symposium & Seminar at Mount Mary College, Chümoukedima, bringing together students, youth, entrepreneurs and community members.
The programme featured three technical sessions covering digital business, technical and vocational training, financial management and self-employment.
Medoneizo Putsure, Founder and CEO of Bambusa Express and JOME Foods Pvt Ltd, spoke on digital business and encouraged participants to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship.
Imnayangner Imchen, Assistant General Manager, Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre, highlighted various technical and vocational training opportunities, including Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based programmes.
I Sashi Pongener, Financial Advisor to the Business Association of Nagas and Consultant to Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd, shared insights on financial management and self-employment, emphasising financial discipline and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Each session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, providing participants with practical guidance on the subjects discussed.
The programme began with an invocation by Bendang Imsong, followed by a welcome address from Talisunep Walling, President, ALTC. Suwa Lkr, Advisor, ALTC, outlined the objectives of the symposium.
