Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Azheto Zhimomi has said giving emphasis on human resource development along with infrastructural development was much needed for people of the State to progress in accordance with fast changing world.
Addressing a large gathering of NPF party workers of Dimapur district and leaders and elders of Dimapur-III A/C at a thanksgiving service on March 17 at Kiyeto village, Azheto pointed out that he represents the entire people of 3 Dimapur-III A/C and not only those who voted for him, stated a press release received here. He assured it would be his “undying conviction” to work for the uplift of the constituency and its populace, the release added.
Urging cooperation and support from the public of Dimapur-III A/C in order to work for the welfare of the people, he welcomed views and suggestions that can be put to good use for developmental activities.
Among others who spoke on the occasion was Pusazo Luro, in-charge, NPF Dimapur division.
Rev. Tokhevi, pastor, Kiyeto Village Baptist Church offered thanksgiving prayer, Rev. Dr. Phughoto Aye said invocation prayer, and Rev. Vinod Rai pronounced the benediction. Lhikro Kero chaired the program and Dr. Hito Achumi proposed vote of thanks.
