Dimapur: As part of its enterprise development initiative of the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Khrienuo C. Metha, Secretary, Government of Nagaland & Team Leader, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency inaugurated a ‘Bamboo Craft Working Shed’ in Khar village, Mokokchung district on May 6.
The inauguration programme was chaired by Alem Longkumer, Member, NBM-IT. Pastor Lanukumzuk of Khar Baptist Church pronounced invocation prayer and Imtinungba, Chairman of Khar Village Council, delivered the welcome address. The keynote address on the occasion was given by Er Lipokmeren Ao, Member, NBM-IT.
A press release issued by Dr. Tolto metha, Member, NBM-IT, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, stated, “through this initiative, the NBDA is hopeful that the people of this region will be benefitted immensely so far as promotion and development of Bamboo craft are concerned with the timely providence of this working shed in the village.”
