Dimapur, May 10 (MExN): The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) and Nagaland Organic Farmers Association (NOFA) are initiating Naga farmers and entrepreneurs market called 'Naga Market Link’ (NML) at Urban Haat, Dimapur. The market will start on May 13, 7AM onwards.
In this regard, farmers and entrepreneurs are invited to avail this opportunity to come and sell their farm produces and home-made products.
“Wholesale and retail facilities will be provided adhering to COVID19 rules and guidelines of social distancing and preventive measures,” informed a press release from BAN.
Use of mask compulsory, ensure social- distancing and bring own baskets or carry bags, it said.
The BAN and NOFA further appealed the government departments and agencies such as agriculture, horticulture, NSRLM, FPO's and all line departments to provide and facilitate farmers to come and sell their farm produces to “tide over such trying pandemic period.”
