Baptist College literary day held

Kohima September 7 (MExN): Baptist College, Kohima held its literary day on 24th August at Ura Academy Hall. Competition was held class-wise and the events of the day included debate, spelling bee, solo, drama, elocution, fancy dress and essay writing. The debate competition was held on the topic was “Liquor prohibition is good for the state of Nagaland” while Elocution was based on the theme “Short speeches from Shakespeare’s plays”.
The theme for the fancy dress was held under “Famous historical characters” while the essay competition was held under the topic “Why I must donate blood”. The program was followed by a prize distribution which was handed out by N.Delhu Khate, Principal and vote of thanks was delivered by Chubaakum. Earlier the program was chaired by Vizovono Elizabeth, who also delivered introduction while Dr. Kewe Lohe, Vice- Principal pronounced invocation prayer.
