Baptist High Kohima held its cultural day at Mission Compound ground on November 1 with students from different classes Nursery to Higher Secondary presenting variety of cultural and traditional items.


School principal Keviseto Isrial said that the coming together of the students in presenting cultural dances and folk songs of shows the unity in diversity of the school.


Held once in three years, he said, it requires leadership of the teachers and trainers to bring together such a presentations.
The cultural presentations included Angami Folk song by students of Nursery and Classes A & B; Drama by Class 12, Zeliang Folk song by Classes 1, 2 & 3; Nepali Dance by Class 2 & 3, Chakhesang folk song by Class 5, Lotha folk dance by Class 4, Cultural ramp walk by Higher secondary students, Rongmei folk dance by Class 7, Angami folk song by Class 8, Sumi folk dance by Class 9 & higher secondary boys, Sangtam folk tune by Class 6 and traditional games by Class 10 and war dance competition.
