In celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (Celebration of 75 Years of India’s Independence) District Youth Resource Office (DYRO) and District Sports Office (DSO) organized a basketball exhibition match between DYRO/DSO and Tuensang District Basketball Association (TDBA) on August 13.
TDBA defeated DYRO/DSO team with a score of 48 to 22 in the exhibition match. It was officiated by the officials of TDBA.
DSO official congratulated TDBA for encouraging youngsters for bringing basketball into the sports scenario of the district and wished the best to the players for their future endeavors. District Youth Resource and District Sports, Officer informed that he has already written a recommendation to the directorate for renovating the basketball court which is in deteriorating condition.
