Dimapur, August 22 (MExN): The Bayavü Area Panchayat (BAP) Kohima has brought to the notice of all the residents of the colony that the Panchayat in its recent executive body meeting had resolved to make the colony ‘Dustbin Free Zone’ following series of consultation and direction from Kohima Municipal Council (KMC).
In this regard, the Aesthetic & Sanitation Committee of the BAP has already chalked out detail action plan for its implementation. The BAP with the help of KMC will simultaneously clear the garbage and dismantling the CC dustbins in the colony starting from August 22 (Monday). Once the dustbins are cleared and dismantled, the sanitation committee of the colony shall fix up daily routine to collect garbage by ‘Mahindra Pick Up’ vehicle. Hence, all the residents of the colony to bring their individual household dustbins/garbage to the vehicle on the spot on hearing the sound of the blowing horn of the vehicle.
The BAP Kohima while informing this in a press release has appealed to the residents of the colony to extend full cooperation and helping had towards successful implementation of ‘Dustbin Free Zone’ Bayavü Hill, Kohima.
