Big round of applause to the Padum Pukhuri council and Gaun Burah’s under the dynamic leadership of Vitoka Katty. Everyone must mark this team as a sign of unity. To earn a ‘STATUS’ or ‘PRESTIGE’ legitimately, in today’s world, it is something like drinking a tea made of King Chilly instead of Sugar. If truth be told, in today’s world of cravenness it is very rare to find a hard working leader. In fact it is rather best to go discover another new planet but praise be to God that the Padum Pukhurians need not go to discover another new planet.
I salute the Village Council and the Gaun Burah’s for making total use of this opportunity as leaders very judiciously and I believe this is a true picture of a quality leader and of course a sign of collective team work because as my eyes can see, as my hands can touch, as my mind can read, as my brain can think, I must say that, our village has improved a lot within these one/two years in the field of developmental activities in every nooks and corners of the village. As a human being, we do not achieve our goal until and unless we try hard and struggle for it. Likewise, to my observation, the village authority is laboring selflessly towards their goal to change and beautify the old Padum Pukhuri. The authorities are physically, mentally, economically giving their best for the well being of the Public in general and thus making village a better place to live in and making our village far more advanced as compared to our neighboring villages.
I am not in a position to compete or compare with: but of course with a positive thinking that, when there is a spirit of competition, we often geared up to boost the good deeds of our own works. Like wise, when we look back, our village was not in a position to be compared with: in any fields, but now I believe that we will be proud to be called a citizen of Padum Pukhuri Village because we are the best at least in some areas as compared with.
How can a development take place in a city, in a Town or a Village if the concerned authority does not act as and off according to the situation? Behind all positive results and development activities it is the village authority who is acting. Heads off to the council members and Gaun Burahs for acting according to situation! It is rather best to construct a building from a zero point then to repair an already constructed building. Like wise, the village authority is like repairing an already constructed building. Trespassing over many trails and troubles, they emerged out to brighten our village and to take our village to a new era of the world. If it was not because of them both the pedestrians and the vehicles would have been playing to and fro in that same old PWD road but look where are we landing now? If it was not because of them, the general public would have still been playing to and fro in that same uncomfortable village approach and links road of our colonies but see! How are the links and approach roads of our village now? If it was not because of them, we would have still been disturbed with water floating every where during rain but think! Why there are no floats even during heavy rainfalls?
If am not mistaken, every soul living in Padum Pukhuri is, witnessing that our village link and approach roads are improved in every nooks and corners of our colonies. There are sufficient drainage to avoid floats even during heavy rainfalls not only this but the biggest achievement that our heroes did is, the PWD road within our village as our faithful eyes can witness is that, the road condition is at its best giving no hindrance to the public in general.
Dear bonafide citizens, old and young and every soul living in this village, what is your opinion? Are this not called development? Is this not a picture of Quality and Responsible Leader? Are these actions and result not a sign of Collective Team Work? Are we not satisfied? Do they not deserve to be acknowledged? As we all know that, there is time for everything and I believe that now it is High Time we must acknowledge our village Council and Gaun Burahs for their selfless service towards the welfare of the Public in General. We must all come together to strengthen our Village authorities.
