Peren, November 22 (DIPR): Biometric exercise for Peren district would be undertaken for National Population Register beginning from November 24 and at Peren Town Council Hall. All citizens of five (5) years and above are to report for Biometric at the designated venue as per the chart worked out by the District Administration in co-ordination with the Enumerators and the technical team.
The first enrolment in Peren would be carried out from ward No. 1 followed by other wards and Villages of Peren Circle. Deputy Director Census, M. Aier addressing a joint meeting of Enumerators, GB’s and ward leaders in Peren has explained the role of ward/Village leaders for successful conduct of Biometric.
He also appreciated the Enumerators/Supervisors, GBs, DBs and ward/Village leaders for their support, Co-operation and sincerity in the last census operation while pointing out the good record achieved by Nagaland in Census operation. He requested the ward/Village leaders, Church leaders GBs and Town Advisory Board member to co-ordinate with the Biometric technical team for smooth and peaceful conduct of the same in Peren District. Earlier ADC Peren, Lungheising gave an introductory speech who also presided over the joint meeting cum training for Enumerator at Peren Town Hall.
