Kohima, May 17 (MExN): The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) victory celebration took place here today at the BJP’s Kohima district office at CK Arcade, Kohima.
All the Kohima district BJP office bearers, mandal presidents and frontal chiefs attended the celebration programme. Vidilhoulie Theünuo, president BJP Kohima district presided over the programme.
The programme started with invocation prayer by Kelhouzhatuo. Vizopal, state executive member, Thomas Magh, Sampark Cell North East, Vineizo Tsurho, state secretary, and R. Sopu Angami, state vice president, spoke in the programme.
Sopu in his address said that dynasty rule has been finished and a tea vendor has become prime minister. This mandate of the people is proof of BJP’s non-communal agenda, Sopu stated.
Meanwhile, Kohima unit congratulated the people of Nagaland for electing Neiphiu Rio. “BJP will Shine, India will Shine,” stated BJP Kohima district president Vidilhoulie and general secretary Apel Angami.
