Mokokchung Town Mandal officials along with officials of BJP Mokokchung district during the first executive meeting on October 7.
Mokokchung, October 7 (MExN): The 27 Mokokchung Town Mandal held its executive meeting with BJP district office bearers and all the Morchas (frontals) at Aongza Ward, Mokokchung on Wednesday.
Speaking at the programme, the Vice President of BJP, Mokokchung Morcha, Nukshi I Ozukum said that party will be fielding capable and winning candidates in all the Mandals (assembly constituencies) in the forthcoming assembly election. As such, he urged the party workers to work diligently for the overall peace, development of the whole Mokokchung district and the state, an update from the BJP Mokokchung IT Cell stated.
The President of Scheduled Tribe Morcha, Oyimpong Longchar, challenged the BJP workers to be more dedicated in their works so as to make the BJP party – its policies and programmes – reach out to the people in every corner of the constituency.
In this regard, Longchar listed out the different welfare programmes being implemented by the BJP led NDA government in the centre. Stating that the ST Morcha is one of the most important wings in the BJP organization when it comes to Nagaland, since all the Nagas are scheduled tribes, he encouraged the gathering to join hands with the Prime Minister in availing the different schemes.
Longchar asked the gathering to submit the names of the needy people which will be scrutinized by the ST Morcha, BJP Mokokchung.
Meanwhile short speeches were delivered by BJP State Council member Bendangmeren, former president of BJP Mokokchung and BJP worker Limawati, the update stated.
