DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7 (MExN): The Bhandari-Merapani Mekokla Ekhüng (BMME) has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the recent murder of T. Mhashan Kinghen. The incident occurred on October 27 on Merapani road, on the outskirts of Bhandari Town.
In a statement, the BMME condemned the “inhumane and barbaric” act, describing it as a grievous affront to the community. “The heinous act of taking a young life and subsequently discarding the body by the roadside reflects a profound disregard for the sanctity of human life,” the statement read, calling for collective condemnation of such acts.
The organization highlighted the broader impact of the murder, noting it was a tragedy not only for Kinghen's family but also for the community and everyone who values safety and human dignity. Stressing the need for accountability, BMME urged law enforcement to conduct a thorough investigation, leaving “no stone unturned” to bring those responsible to justice.
