Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): An unidentified male body was found lying near the foot overbridge at Deluxe Point, Dimapur on February 28, police said.
According to the police, information was received at around 4.20 pm from the Police Control Room, Dimapur about the presence of an unidentified non-local male lying dead at the foot overbridge. Acting on the information, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The deceased is believed to be around 25–30 years old. An inquest was conducted at the site, and preliminary findings indicated that the cause of death was suspected to be natural, police said.
After completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the morgue of District Hospital Dimapur for post-mortem examination and identification.
