Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The annual career guidance cum orientation programme under the aegis of The Bridge was held on September 10 at All Saints Higher Secondary School Auditorium, Peren with the theme “Get-Set-Go”. Altogether a total of around two hundred (200) students from various schools under Peren Town attended the programme.
The resource persons were Lt. Col/ Joy Choudhury, CO 1 Nagaland Girls NCC Batt. Kohima; Tsiamchi Ndang, SDO Electrical; Dr. Assappe Kauring, Medical Officer (Ayush) District Hospital Perena and Igong N. Ipuing, Lecturer Government Collage Wangkao, Mon. While all the four resource persons elaborated more on their own respective fields, Lt. Col Joy Choudhury and Igong also emphasized on the issue of making career choices.
The programme was moderated by Keyicaulang Meru and Izuhube Chamlak. It started off by invoking the Devine’s blessing from Rev. Fr. Philip, Principal ASHSS. A key note was delivered by Namnahei Nza and with a word of indebtedness by the Director of the Bridge, Machiheing Ndang the programmed ended.
