Dimapur, July 7 (MExN): BSNL has provided mobile service on the entire route of Amarnath Yatra starting w.e.f. June 29, 2011. Customers from any other state having BSNL or MTNL post-paid mobile connection with roaming facility and mobile subscribers of J&K state will have almost continuous mobile service right up to the Holy Cave. Roaming of other states prepaid mobile subscribers is not allowed in the state of J&K. BSNL has made special arrangements at Registration Base Camps to provide prepaid mobile connections for Yatris, for which they should carry passport size photographs, valid Identity and valid address proof with them. This was informed in a press release issued by BSNL, NE-II Circle, Dimapur.
