Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): An Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) bus service from Tuli to Jorhat via Amguri was inaugurated by L. Temjen Jamir, MLA and NBDA and Pradeep Hazarika, MLA from Amguri Constituency, Assam on January 13 at Tzudikong Town in the presences of Tuli Area public leaders and general masses. The function was also attended by representatives of ASTC and dignitaries from Assam. This was informed in a press release issued by T. Toshi Imsong, P.S to L. Temjen Jamir.
Pradeep Hazarika, MLA said that Assam and Nagaland had relationship from the start of the record of history and have maintained a brotherhood kind of relationship. L. Temjen, MLA & Advisor NBDA also said that relation between the two state have been cordial from time immemorial. He also said that till now there is no bus service to Jorhat and that this bus service will boost transportation as well as further strengthen the relationship between Assam and Nagaland to a great extend.
