Dimapur, November 17 (MExN): The Dimapur District GB Association, GB Union Dimapur Sadar, and Dimapur District Citizen’s Forum, along with the Peace Committee of the Nagaland GB Federation, have appealed to business communities in Dimapur district to voluntarily close their establishments and attend the common platform for an “early naga political solution” on November 18 at Agri Expo, Chumoukedima.
In a statement, the organisations requested all business entities under Dimapur district to “kindly voluntarily down shutters and attend the rally from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.”
They also appealed to the Dimapur District Chamber of Commerce and Industries to encourage its members to participate in the programme, stating that the common platform is “a clarion call for all the stakeholders for peace and Indo-Naga political solution.”
Free auto rides from Super Market
Separately, the organising committee for the event informed that autos will be made available “free of cost” for participants. According to the committee, the autos will be stationed at Super Market near Town Hall, Dimapur, from 9 am onwards to facilitate transportation to the meeting venue at Agri-Expo, 3rd Mile, Chumoukedima.
