Dimapur, June 22 (MExN): The Union Territory Office of NSCN (IM) today maintained that despite fixtures of rates by the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), butchers “continue to charge Rs 300 per Kg of beef, pork, chicken and price rise in other essential commodities.”
In this connection, the UT Office appealed “the district administration and DMC to strictly implement the existing rate fixed by the DMC by checking on daily basis as it hampers the economy of the common people in this trying time.”
It also requested the civil societies, GBs, consumers' rights forum and all concerned in the district for kind co-operation.
