C-Edge College Mr and Miss Fresher 2023 along with first runners’ up.
DIMAPUR, JULY 14 (MExN): C-Edge College Fresher’s Week which started from July 5 culminated on July 13 with Er Seyiekhrietuo Solo, EAC, Seithekhema as the guest speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Solo remarked that Nagaland has high literacy rate but at the same time is also one of the states with the highest rate of unemployment in the country. He therefore encouraged the students to participate in everything and discover their hidden talents.
Certificates and prize money were also presented to students for their achievement in various categories. The list of the awards include Viwhesieno Award for Girls Topper which was bagged by Abelo Lotha (BA VI Semester), Balakrishnan Ramanathan award for EVS topper was bagged by Nyimang Mong S (BBA IV Semester), Laurel Awards for securing highest CGPA in university and college level, Laurel Awards for departments and Best Star Attendance Award.
Earlier, Dr Chubatola Aier, Principal, C-Edge College delivered the welcome note while speech on behalf of fresher’s and seniors was given by Vitinali and Atonoka respectively.
At the second session, Imnatemjen Ozukum of BA I semester and Vikini Tsuqu of BA I semester were adjudged Mr and Miss Fresher 2023. Merenlemba Ozukum and Vitinali of BA I semester were adjudged runners up.
