Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): C-Edge College celebrated the official inauguration and dedication of the Narosangla Chapel Hall on September 9, bringing together a diverse gathering of college authorities, pastors, deans, faculty, staff, students, and invited guests.
The dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting were performed by Rev Wati Kichu, Pastor of the Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA), following a Scripture reading and a dedicatory prayer. Chaired by Ms. Daisy Shitio, Dean of Social Science and Humanities, the event featured corporate worship, scripture readings, and special presentations.
The invocation was led by Sadem Lemdor, Pastor of Naga United Village Ao Baptist Arogo, while the message was delivered by Kuhusheyi Chotso, Pastor of Naga United Village Baptist Church.
During the programme, Dr Tiarenla Aier presented “The Dream Chapel,” sharing the inspiration behind the building and reflecting on the life of her late mother, Narosangla Aier, whose memory and devotion inspired the project.
The Chapel is envisioned as a space dedicated to prayer, worship, fellowship, healing, and spiritual growth. C-Edge College President Er Moa Aier also presented the journey of the project under the theme “Cornerstone to Dedication,” highlighting key milestones such as the initial prayer for the project in October 2024 and the laying of the cornerstone in October 2025, alongside expressing appreciation to all contributors.
The programme concluded with the college choir performing the College Song. The dedication of the Narosangla Chapel Hall marks the realization of a long-held vision and stands as a testament to the institution's enduring commitment to faith, community, and holistic education.
