Dimapur, July 5 (MExN): The C-Edge College in collaboration with IBA (India Blockchain Alliance) and AAMIDA Consulting Services held a webinar on blockchain technology on July 5. The college has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a Blockchain Centre, a informed press release from the college. The founding member of the Blockchain Continuum and the founder and chairman of IBA, an Indian emerging technology tech think tank, Raj Kapoor as the resource person was the resource person of the webinar, it said.
Kapoor in his presentation emphasised on the national strategy for blockchain and said that it is the most sought after hard skills in the world and further delved into the details on its origin and job prospects. As a mentor for more than 20 blockchain start-ups around the world, he stressed that blockchain technology can be learnt by all the students of all disciplines, the release said.
According the release, Kapoor, who was also selected this year as a top crypto currency and blockchain influencer by Asian Market Cap, listed out in details the seven reasons why one need a blockchain certification for future career. The webinar concluded with interactive session between the participants and the resource person, it said. The C-Edge College under a MoU with the IBA will set up a Blockchain Centre of Excellence powered by India Blockchain Alliance and Dragonchain, USA, it added.
