Bishop of Kohima, Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil today graced the third day convention of the 39th year existence of Catholic Association of Nagaland (CAN) at St Joseph's College, Jakhama under the theme “Credible witnesses of Christ.”

Rev. Dr. James Thoppil stressed on the need to strengthen “our faith”, adding “ we need to be more committed in our daily lives.”

Bishop also reminded the believers on the need to be punctual, sincere, forgiving, loving and honest.

To be a credible witness to Christ, we need to give what we have and ought to be thankful and proud of your faith, said Rev Dr Thoppil.

The service was led by Dr. Tesisovi Gerald Meyase. The convention was followed by Eucharistic procession towards Jakhama town.

The fourth session was led by James Ezung, president Lotha Catholic Union.

Rev Dn. Dr Sherman Kuek, OFS spoke on the topic “Living a life of Sacrament.”

Meanwhile, the main celebrant with Rev. Fr. Binoy Joseph, administrator St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama will take place on January 16 at 7:00 AM.
