The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) thankfully acknowledge the unprecedented show of Solidarity, Unity and oneness being complemented and supplemented by the ceaseless co-operation and untiring efforts by all its members irrespective of status and sex in the past years. Hopefully, this quintessence and uniqueness in joining hands together by the whole chunk of employees had brought forth wonderful results, such as the adoption of the 5th Central Pay Scales in the state- the first of its kind in North East States so far, the liberal release of GPF non-refundable withdrawal to the employees by the government without any checks and balances including implementation of 50% DA merger. The stately CANSSEA office building in the posh locality of the capital town Kohima with attached Rest House and Conference Hall is an achievement of no mean dimension that has of late, generated appreciable interest amongst the members besides telling the historic tale to the people of Nagaland for many more years to come. No doubt, the building remains to be completed and the progress of construction regressed for the simple reason of severe resource crunch in the past.
CANSSEA feel greatly rejoiced to have brought out its maiden but momentous publication of Souvenir after a collective and painstaking effort of collection, collation and serialization of inputs materials for a period of little over two years and still it is on sale at a rate of Rupees One Hundred and fifty each, which the Central Committee considered it realistic and rational compared to the content, quality and the volume. After meeting the expenditure on account of printing, CANSSEA piously hope to utilize the residue of sale proceeds for construction of the unfinished work of the building. With unity and understanding let us continue to thrive on our motto “Progress and prosperity through service”.
Dr. K. Solo, President, CANSSEA
