Peren, November 30 (MExN): Career Guidance programme was organized by the Peren Students’ Union (PSU) in collaboration with the Peren District Legal Services Authority (PDLSA) on November 30 at Town Hall Peren. The programme was chaired by Dr. Keyitiak Ndang. The session started with introduction of resource persons who were from CAN Youth, Dimapur.
About 278 students attended the event, representing All Saints Higher Secondary School, Baptist Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Secondary School of Peren town.
Along with Peren Students’ Union President Rampauyi Ndang, student executive members, social activists, teachers and PLVs of Peren District Legal Service Authority attended the programme.
The programme was based on self discovery and to find one’s true skill, talent and passion, which was done through individual and group mappings in chart presentations. The emphasis of the programme was laid on turning one’s passion into a career option, which is the need of the hour.
The students were also made aware of the activities of the PDLSA and various legal services offered. Pamphlets on legal awareness were distributed to the students and those in attendance.
The Programme concluded with vote of thanks by Haipeurangbe Ndang (PLV) on behalf of the PSUN and PDLSA.
