His-story is replete with prophetic utterances on the destruction of this world. The world has bled too much to survive for another epoch. We cry for peace when only violence is making up to the headline. The eruptions of war are far much more feared and dreaded than the natural catastrophes. Terrorism, suicide bombers and genocides have become a daily food to the mind. The callousness of our hearts testifies to the depravity of human race. The rise of global warming to the pollutions of air, water and soil are nothing but humans’ doing. Humans are strangling and choking their own throats. We are killing ourselves but do not stop craving for more and more. Lives to some have become a heaven on earth while, a hellish place to inhabit for some. The wealth of the rich is flowing but it never reaches to his neighbour down the lane. In their own pursuit of vision and goals, humanity has forgotten to be human. We have achieved freedom from others but not from fears within and without.
This planet earth that once stood so rich, wild and green now turns to grey. The sound of animals and howling of waves are replaced with loud banging of machines and hi-tech equipment. Nature is ravished with chemicals and fertility loses its power to regain composure. The pollutions we created have taken a toll on us. What’s next? The earth is not going to hold much longer to satisfy the greed of the mortal souls.The day the earth die, humans will be buried with it.Nations are trembling at their own handmade nuclear weapons and deadly bombs. The future is not bright but bleak. One button pressed and humanity vanishes into thin air. We better end our wars and save ourselves but no, our pride hurts more than our annihilation. This world will continue to be a battleground so long as the new world order does not come into play. A cataclysmic ending with the big bang genesis of a new heaven and earth is the ultimate groaning of humans, even nature itself.
