CBCMHK appeals church members

Kohima, May 19 (MExN): As Nagaland and the nation battle the second wave of the pandemic, the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill Kohima (CBCMHK) today appealed all its church members to ‘continually bring their petitions before the Lord and seek shelter in the God Almighty.’

From the pastoral office, it stated that the church bell will ring at 7:00 pm regularly wherein all members are encouraged “to join hands in prayer at yours rooms, balconies or terraces rebuking the powers of darkness and claiming the victory and healing of Jesus Christ over our lives, neighborhoods and our land.”

“In case you know of any sick or needy family/individual, please do not hesitate to notify the church workers about it in your respective colonies that the church may provide relief package as required,” the church said.

The Church members are also called to express faith in the Lord by sharing with the needy and helping neighbors/fellow citizens in whatever way possible.

“We proclaim one day family prayer and fasting for all members to be observed within the month of May,” it informed and also called to “actively nurture our faith by way of personal or family Bible Study, praying and meditation on God's word. Along with this please continue to connect with the church at the Sunday Online Worship Services.”

In line with the Faith Flag Movement, CBCMHK said it has prepared flags and kept it ready at the church premises. “Please do avail it for free and take some for neighbors as well,” it added.
