Kohima, September 24 (MExN): The Chang College Students’ Union Kohima (CCSUK) vehemently denounced the alleged torture of a minor girl belonging to Chang community by her employer N. Asangla Ao. The condemnation note appended by its president W.B Mongko Chang stated that many children from Eastern Nagaland are serving as a domestic helper in an around Kohima but the act of barbaric and torturing the innocent child without any rhyme or reason is intolerable. It further cautioned that many a times children hailing from the so called backward district (Eastern Nagaland) have been ill treated/tortured by their employers, and such an act of highly advanced person shows their inner mindset which has no place in our society and further added that no one in this world is born as backward from their mother’s womb but this act of regardless to the same creature is uncivilized in the civilized society.
The union urged to all the right thinking citizens to come forward and condemn such treatment and also appealed CUK and ENPUK to deal the matter with the higher authorities to avoid such incident in future.
