DIMAPUR, JANUARY 15 (MExN): Prof Dr Atul Goel, Director General Health Services & Director National Centre Disease Control (NCDC), along with Dr Shikha Vardhan, Joint Director & Head (Estb & Strengthening of NCDC Branches), MoHFW, GOI, visited Nagaland to take stock with regard to the progress of the NCDC Branch building in Dimapur on January 15.
This is the maiden visit of the Director General Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
The DGHS also visited the BSL2 Laboratory in CIHSR, Urban Primary Health Centre in Burma Camp and Dimapur District Hospital and interacted with the staffs of the units especially with regard to service delivery, challenges including areas and gaps which can be filled especially with regard to capacity building and other technical issues.
Prof Dr Atul Goel, DGHS also interacted with the Senior Officials of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, led by the Principal Director, Dr Temjentsungla.
