MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 23 (DIPR): The DC Mokokchung Abhishek Singh IAS has notified that the Government of India, Ministry of Information & Technology along with NISG, Hyderabad & Department of Information Technology, Nagaland has approved an e-governance project called e-Motop to be implemented in Mokokchung as a pilot project which will be replicated in other districts of Nagaland later.
This e-governance project seeks to provide to all citizens, integrated services by utilizing the modern tools of Information Technology in order to ensure reliable, efficient and transparent system of implementation of this project. Information with regard to schemes and programmes of various departments and agencies of Central, State and local governments will be available to the citizens in an efficient, reliable and transparent manner. The services will be made available to the citizens through setting up of Citizens Service Centres, kiosks on the internet.
In order to identify the services that should be offered through this project, it is proposed to organise a Stake-holder consultation meeting on May 25 at 11 AM at the DC’s conference hall.
All officials are requested to attend the meeting along with suggestions for implementation of this project and nature of services that are desired.

The Editors of Ao Milen, Nagaland Post, Tir Yimyim, North East Herald and The Morung Express are request to publish in their dailies and offer suggestions for the project by participating or sending a representative for the meeting.
