Kohima, April 1 (MExN): The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Karmayogi Bharat, will organise “SADHANA (Strengthening Adaptive Development and Humane Aptitude for National Advancement) Saptah” from April 2 to 8 across the country.
The initiative aims to foster a culture of continuous learning and strengthen governance capabilities, focusing on three themes — technology (including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies), tradition (Indian knowledge systems and indigenous innovations), and tangible outcomes through citizen-centric service delivery.
During the week, all government departments have been directed to ensure that employees registered on the iGOT Karmayogi platform complete at least four hours of learning.
Departments have also been asked to expedite onboarding of employees on the platform by nominating nodal officers and submitting employee details and required documents for preparation of department-specific Capacity Building Plans (CBP).
Further, departments have been instructed to organise panel discussions on governance challenges, reform priorities and best practices, and to direct their training institutes to conduct capacity-building activities, including workshops and blended learning programmes aligned with Mission Karmayogi.
The MDO Leader will serve as the nodal officer for the programme.
Departments have been asked to submit reports on activities conducted during the period to the P&AR department on or before April 10, 2026.
